  • Advent Prayer and Meditation Service was held during Advent.  Every Wednesday at noonday the Rev. Deacon Jim Purks lead a time of prayer and meditation as part of the Advent season of anticipation and preparation for the coming of Christ.
  • “Sunday Snackin’ with the Rev” Here an opportunity for grown folks – as well as those who may consider growing up some day – to hang out in a relaxed atmosphere and shoot the breeze with their priest. The inaugural edition of this monthly event was held on Sunday, November 20, at 6 p.m. at Five Guys Burgers & Fries.
  • An enthusiastic group of packers gathered November 21 to load up the Thanksgiving boxes for 15 families.  The generous people of St. Pat’s had donated turkeys and many other food items. There was plenty to fill all the boxes.
  • United Thank Offering – “Thank You” to all who gave to the Fall UTO Ingathering!  Your generous donations will be combined with others to provide grants for worthy causes.
  • Daughters of the King met Wednesday,November 16 at the church.
  • An Impromptu All Saints Cemetery Tour was conducted by Tim Davis Sunday, November 13. We met in Oakview Cemetery in downtown Albany.  This is a very old cemetery, replete with history of Albany.  And Tim knows all about it!
  • An All Hallows Eve party was held Sunday, October 30 at St. Paul’s EC downtown with a service after the party.
  • The Blessing of the Animals was held October 23 at 2:30 p.m.
  • The stewardship campaign kick-off dinner,  Octoberfest, was held Saturday, October 15, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Dr. A.L. Addington, Retired Clergy Deployment Officer of the Diocese of Georgia was the special guest speaker.  Wonderful German food was prepared by a group of parishioners.  Games were played, and a special band entertained.  It was a fun evening.
  • Our Junior Warden Bob Cerney thanks everyone who supported the Landscape Cleanup on October 1. Bob says, “We had a great day and even the temperature was cooperating. The grounds look very good and we are ready to enter into the Holiday Season.We started at 8:30 and finished at approximately 11:30 and had at least a dozen hard workers.
  • Our youth performed a  local service project in conjunction with The Fuller Center, St. Paul’s EC, and St. John & St. Mark’s EC on September 24. A swim party/cookout for our youth and families was held at the Talley’s that afternoon at 3 p.m. Our youth worked with the Fuller Center from 9-2:30.  They had a wonderful time.
  • Full Services and Sunday School resumed September 11.
  • The Episcopal Church Women hosted a Wine and Cheese get together for the women of the church Monday, August 29.
  • Vacation Bible School was July 12- 14 from 6:00- 8:00 pm.  It was a huge success!  Click here for pictures.
