Fr. Kyle at St Patrick's Episcopal Church

Welcoming Fr. Kyle this fall:

Kyle is a native son of Dublin, GA. Searching for a church that fit what he knew of Jesus led him to the Episcopal Church at UGA’s campus ministry. He was received in 2012 and attended Vocare, an overnight retreat for young adults focused on vocation. Soon after, he was sponsored through the Diocese of Atlanta’s Discerning Young Vocations Experience (DYVE) and was recommended for priestly ordination. He attended Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia, (M. Div.) and was ordained to the priesthood by the Rt. Rev. Robert C. Wright, Bishop of Atlanta, in June 2018.

Fr. Kyle has served in several parishes, most recently St. Stephen's in Newport News, VA. His passion in ministry is deepening connection and appreciation of the divine by helping others see the relationship between their own story and the grander story of God, particularly the story of Jesus. He hopes to bring about the Kingdom by aiding others to become the disciples Jesus calls them to be. Kyle is married to Mary Rose, his spouse of 5 years and partner of 10. Together they have one son, Sean.

Father Bullion has cheerfully stepped up to fill in as a nearly "full-time" supply Priest for us as we await Fr. Kyle’s arrival this August.
