One of the hallmarks of Christ's ministry on earth was the healing of the sick. In the 5^th chapter of the letter from James tells us to continue that same ministry by the offering of prayers with the laying on of hands and the anointing with oil. In our day and age, the need for such a ministry continues. In a time when so many are burdened in many and various ways, we at St. Patrick's intend to respond to such a need by offering a twice monthly healing service. Services will be the 1^st Wednesdays at noon and 3^rd Sundays at 5 PM. These services will consist of the reading and reflection on Scripture, prayers for God's healing, the laying on of hands, anointing, and the Eucharist.
